It’s wonderful to see the wheels of the event industry moving into the right direction and witness the return of live events.

I touched down back in the UK last week after spending 17 days in Morocco and wanted to share an update on why to consider this epic destination. I loved discovering this fascinating country and immersed myself into their culture hospitality and traditions.

It is hard to believe that less than 3 hours flying time from London you can find a completely different world, and step into another continent.

Whilst in destination, I travelled over 2000 kilometre and explored from Casablanca to Rabat onwards to Tangier, then Chefchaouen the blue city, on to Fez via the Roman ruins of Vobulis.

I ended up in Marrakech and visited the Atlas Mountains as well as the Agafay Desert. I can write a book about all my experiences but really wanted to highlight Marrakech to you

Marrakech is ready for MICE, I visited hidden and unusual venues, restaurants, country clubs, riads, boutique hotels, luxury retreats, 4–5-star branded MICE hotels and experienced some incredible activities,

Many venues and hotels have received a refurbishment or update in the last 2-3 years. The food culture is delicious and world class. in addition there are some wonderful and creative activities to consider:

Perfume making, artisan workshops, cooking classes, hot air balloons in the Agafay desert, medina tours with numerous different twists, horse & carriage or vintage car transfers, 4Wheel drive through the Atlas Mountains, quad biking – yoga & meditation classes in the desert or gardens, equistian show with Arabian thoroughbreds, Moroccan tea ceremonies, museums, palaces, world famous gardens and of course the famous Jemaa El Fna Square with its lively authentic hustle and bustle right in the centre near the Medina.

In our opinion Marrakech is perfect for conferences of any size, high-end incentive groups, product launches, automotive launches, pharma groups, buy-outs and boutique get-away groups. I was blown away by what I saw on offer here, I’m sure you will be too. What stood out most was the flexibility. I felt that venues and hotels very much had the “yes can do” attitude and offering creative alternatives and solutions and renowned warm Moroccan hospitality.

As an important consideration our partners ACCESS Events DMC is fully equipped to offer several CSR activities to ensure your group can give back in Morocco. Some of their projects include CSR Kasbah tour, CSR cooking classes as well as Atlas Kinder, a charity for orphaned children. Atlas Kinder have built a village for children with its own school, mosque, homes and doctors practise, here you can assist at any level, from building to painting to planting or just cooking or playing with the children. I could go on and on but perhaps its easier to contact us and we can set up an appointment to tell you more?
