MUNDUS SITE VISIT MONTENEGRO – 23^RD May to 02^ND June 2021

I touched down in the UK on Saturday from Montenegro, and wanted to share an update one why to consider this epic destination for your next event?

World-class hotels, stunning UNESCO protected scenery, endless activities, wonderful hospitably, easily accessible; what is there not to like about Montenegro. Hosted by Edil from our stellar DMC Montenegro Concierge DMC, Mundus recently spent a week on a fact-finding site visit to learn more about MICE opportunities in this rapidly developing go-to destination.

From the get-go Montenegro wows. Transferring from Podgorica airport (there is also great flight into Tivat & Dubrovnik) across the mountains to the Adriatic coast is a breeze, and breathtaking. Our trip focused in and around the medieval towns of Budva, Tivat and Kotor, Here located directly on the azure coast, or stunning fjordland, are a plethora of world-class properties. We visited the One & Only, Nikki Beach, Chedi, the Regent, The Huma, and the Lazure. These modern properties excel at offering everything you’d expect for your MICE group, in fact they are some of the very best locations we’ve seen, highlighting how Montenegro punches above its weight as a MICE destination.

Activity-wise again the destination over delivers. Being a compact country with an incredibly diverse geography there’s so much to offer outside; sailing, speedboats, whitewater rafting, bike-riding, locally produced wine tasting, skiing, tuk-tuk tours, and outstanding beaches. Montenegro’s history is rich and fascinating making it a perfect blend of culture, relaxation, and adrenaline.

In our opinion Montenegro is perfect for conferences of any size, high-end incentive groups, product launches, automotive launches, pharma groups, and boutique get-away groups. I was blown away by what I saw on offer here, I’m sure you will be too.
