    Travel has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. I’ve notched up 22 years of expertise across the leisure, corporate and MICE, and I still absolutely love it. My career began in Cape Town as a key member of an inbound DMC, GRS Southern Africa Tours with Petra O’Nell, and at Specialized Tours with Margi Biggs, running conference & events for the American, UK and German market for 5 years.

    I made the jump to London in 2000 and embarked on a number of high-level positions within the airline industry; first in 2007 with South Africa Airways, then driving and expanding Etihad Airways’ MICE sector, helping strengthen Abu Dhabi as a global destination for MICE, securing Etihad’s largest MICE group in the company’s history, worth over a £1M. In 2016 I was approached to join The Viceroy Hotel Group as Director, Group and Incentive Sales for the UK & Europe, and in 2018 as Global Commercial Director with Pearl Representation, a leading specialist sales and marketing organization representing DMCs in the travel and service industry. Creating Mundus is the next natural step for me and offers incredibly exciting opportunities to work with the very best in the industry.

    Creating a memorable experience excites me and the desire to travel has always been in my blood ever since I can remember. Today, with over 20 years of experience in the luxury hotel sector, working with such luminaries as The Dorchester, The Savoy and The Lanesborough, I’m motivated by every aspect of travel, tourism, and MICE. One of the most rewarding aspects for me is creating an empathy with the folks in our industry. I love to engage with our clients in a creative, fun and memorable way.

    Before creating Mundus with Wayne, I spent seven wonderful years as the Director of Global Sales MICE for Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, covering the UK, Irish and Scandinavian markets. My extensive work experience has armed me with a fantastic wealth of knowledge of both the UK event industry as well as the 5-star hotels market; it’s exciting to be able to bring this to the table as co-director of our company.
