Last month, I embarked on an awe-inspiring trip through Mexico with our newly appointed, award winning partner Valeria Serrano from CTA Event Design DMC. Our journey started with a fantastic FAM trip, co-hosted with Avenue Sales and All About Flights. This was followed by a deep dive of the stunning regions of Cancun, Riviera Maya, and Los Cabos. These three magnificent locations serve as a wellspring of inspiration for incentive trips.

The Yucatan Peninsula:

Imagine a picturesque kaleidoscope of vibrant colours as the Yucatan Peninsula emerges, separating the sapphire Gulf of Mexico from the turquoise Caribbean Sea. Here, you will discover Mexico’s most enchanting resorts, including the captivating trio of Cancun, Riviera Maya, and Tulum. Immerse yourself in tropical white-sand beaches, venture into dense jungles teeming with mesmerizing wildlife, explore authentic colourful villages, and marvel at the ancient Mayan ruins that bring the region’s history to life. The peninsula is also home to 6000 wondrous cenotes, majestic natural sinkholes and caves filled with crystal-clear water. Today, we have the privilege of exploring these mystical cenotes, creating unforgettable team-building experiences, and immersing ourselves in their beauty.

During my journey, I had the pleasure of visiting several cenotes, including the renowned Rio Secreto and the privately owned cenotes of Viceroy Riviera Maya.

Did you know that the Cancun-Riviera Maya region is home to the mesmerizing Mesoamerican Reef System? This natural wonder is the second-largest barrier reef on the planet, surpassed only by the majestic Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Dive into a paradise where snorkelers and divers are welcomed by captivating underwater scenery.

We also embarked on an adventure through the dense mangrove forests of Cancun, navigating yellow speed boats. Our journey led us to the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, where we swam with turtles and observed waving corals, colourful fish, and even baby sharks.

The peninsula pulsates with the vibrant heartbeat of Mayan culture, proudly showcasing historic sites such as the legendary Chichen Itza. Exploring the mystic ruins of Coba was a highlight, where we were surrounded by an awe-inspiring fusion of history, nature, and exhilaration. Climbing the colossal pyramid known as Ixmoja, part of the Nohoch Mul group of buildings, allowed us to touch the sky and marvel at the heart of the ancient city. Unlike other Maya sites, this pyramid still offers the opportunity to ascend its majestic heights, ensuring an unforgettable experience. We explored the Coba region on bicycles, embracing the spirit of adventure as we immersed ourselves in its splendour.

Our next Mexican destination was Los Cabos (Cabo San Lucas):
